Kegs & Eggs
Join us for breakfast…
On the first Sunday of every month, we’ve got your breakfast plans covered! Blackfire Farm takes a break from pizza to serve up the best wood-fired breakfast sandwiches around. Served on fresh bialy from Flag Leaf Bakery, they are a true Sunday delight. Choose between bacon, sausage, or veggie, add some sriracha or garlic aioli and head on into the taproom! Pair your sandwich with a roasty smooth dry stout, OJ-esque NEIPA, or a peach and plum sour (it’s basically a breakfast juice, right?). Not in the mood for beer just yet? Don’t worry, we’ll also be serving hot coffee from Terra Nova Organic Coffee Roasters.

Monthly Cask
This month we will be featuring our dry stout, Bandit Hat. Another great opportunity to try one of our signature beers two different ways (nitro and on cask). Tapped at 10:00AM, the cask will be available until it runs out. Don’t miss your chance to get a first taste of a brand new P&B beer!
Not sure what cask conditioning is? Continue reading to learn more!

With each Kegs & Eggs event, we release a special cask-conditioned beer. You might be wondering, what is a cask-conditioned beer? Also known as a real ale, it’s an unfiltered beer that undergoes secondary fermentation in a cask. This means the beer continues to mature and carbonate in the cask itself, rather than being force-carbonated in the brewery. The result is a beer with a unique flavor profile, softer carbonation, and a “living” feel due to the presence of active yeast.

Trivia Night: NH Craft Beer Week
Every April, breweries and restaurants across the state put on events in support of the New Hampshire Brewers Association—the only non-profit in the state dedicated to educating, promoting, advocating for, and building community around our state’s craft beer scene. (Did you know that Erika is the president of the NHBA???) This year we're doing two special trivia nights to celebrate:
The second night is on…
April 14th - This is the real Beer Week trivia! One round of questions about our state's beer scene and one about our state. AND 10% of all beer sales will be donated to the NHBA. Maybe we'll throw in some Pint Days glasses again... who knows.
NH Pint Days + Trivia Night
Every April, breweries and restaurants across the state put on events in support of the New Hampshire Brewers Association—the only non-profit in the state dedicated to educating, promoting, advocating for, and building community around our state’s craft beer scene. (Did you know that Erika is the president of the NHBA???) This year we're doing two special trivia nights to celebrate:
April 7th - the release of the official NHBA Pint Days glasses! This year they feature a whimsical woodland drinking scene (see below), we'd argue the best design yet. They'll be available for sale for $8 a piece, or filled with a beer for $10. (And $1.00 of each goes to the NHBA.)
On the 7th, each member of the winning trivia team will win a glass in addition to their drink tokens!
Kegs & Easter Eggs
“Are you guys doing Kegs & Eggs in April even though it's Easter Sunday?" OBVIOUSLY. It's one of our favorite days of the month! In addition to Blackfire's breakfast sandwiches, Terra Nova coffee, a special cask release (see below), and all the beers you could ever want with breakfast, we're doing a little something extra. Throughout the building (and on the patio, if the last bits of ice melt by then!) we'll have easter eggs hidden for your hunting enjoyment. Each one contains a discount or a prize, so come with sharp eyes to this month's Kegs & Eggs!

Monthly Cask
April's cask will be our Red Rye Ale, Elver—one of the best styles for cask conditioning. The lower carbonation and warmer cellar temp really enhance the malt flavors of this beer, making for a very different drinking experience than what you get off the taps. These casks have been kicking fast, so show up early if you want to try!

What’s a cask?
With each Kegs & Eggs event, we release a special cask-conditioned beer. You might be wondering, what is a cask-conditioned beer? Also known as a real ale, it’s an unfiltered beer that undergoes secondary fermentation in a cask. This means the beer continues to mature and carbonate in the cask itself, rather than being force-carbonated in the brewery. Winter Break
Post & Beam will be CLOSED from 2/23 to 2/26 for a Winter refresh! We’ll see you Friday at noon.
